Who's Chewing?

In the United States there are up to 15 million users. 6.2% of males and 1.8% of women over age 18 use spit tobacco. In 2007 the CDC found that more than 13% of male High School students and 2% of female High School students were using smokeless tobacco. Smokeless tobacco use is most common among white, blue collar males. Also, its use is common among athletes particularly among baseball players and rodeo riders.
